1. Terms & Conditions

1.1 Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

Using the SCI Trainings website or registering for any of our training courses constitutes your explicit agreement to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any provision, please do not use the website or register for our services.

1.2 Registration and Payment

• Registration for any course is confirmed upon receipt of full payment or a deposit, as agreed with the SCI Trainings team.
• Prices are shown in US Dollars (USD) per participant and include training materials and a certificate of attendance; they do not include travel or accommodation unless stated otherwise.
• SCI Trainings reserves the right to adjust published prices or course dates, with advance notice to registered participants of any material change.

1.3 Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

• A participant may reschedule their registration to another date at no extra charge, provided SCI Trainings is notified in writing at least 7 days before the course start date.
• In the event of cancellation, a partial refund policy applies depending on the timing of notice; the refund percentage is determined directly with the registration team.
• If SCI Trainings cancels or postpones a course for any reason (such as not reaching the minimum number of participants), the participant may choose to transfer to another date or receive a full refund of the amount paid.

1.4 Certificates

SCI Trainings issues a certified certificate of attendance to participants who complete sufficient attendance of the course. For international certification preparation courses (such as NACE, API, ASME, ASNT, PMI and others), the SCI Trainings certificate confirms completion of the preparatory programme only, and does not substitute for passing the official exam issued by the relevant international certifying body.

1.5 Intellectual Property

All training materials and content provided (course packs, presentations, training questions) are the exclusive property of SCI Trainings or licensed to it, and are provided for the participant's personal use only. Copying, redistributing, or using them for commercial purposes without prior written permission is prohibited.

1.6 Code of Conduct

Participants agree to maintain appropriate professional conduct during training courses (whether in-person or online), and SCI Trainings reserves the right to remove any participant who breaches these rules, without refund of fees paid.

1.7 Limitation of Liability

SCI Trainings makes every effort to ensure the accuracy and quality of the training content provided; however, it is not responsible for any professional or investment decisions made by a participant based on information provided during training, and does not guarantee success in any international certification exam.

1.8 Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of the Emirate of Sharjah shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

2. Privacy Policy

2.1 Data We Collect

When you register for one of our courses or contact us, we may collect data such as: full name, phone number, email address, employer name, and job title — only to the extent necessary to complete registration and communication.

2.2 How We Use Your Data

• Confirming course registration and sending attendance details (classroom or online).
• Communicating with you regarding your enquiries or quote requests (including via WhatsApp).
• Sending information about courses or offers that may interest you, with the option to unsubscribe at any time.

2.3 Data Sharing

SCI Trainings does not sell or rent your personal data to any third party. Limited data may be shared with service providers necessary to complete a process (such as payment processors), only to the extent required to deliver the service.

2.4 Your Rights

You may at any time request to view the data we hold about you, request corrections, or request its deletion, by contacting us via WhatsApp or phone at +971 50 697 0908.

2.5 Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfil our contractual and legal obligations, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.

2.6 Updates to This Policy

This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Any material update will be published on this page along with the last-updated date.
